We love any excuse to celebrate with food.
Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights is an ancient Hindu festival spiritually signifying the victory of good over evil. It is celebrated in autumn (northern hemisphere) or Spring (southern hemisphere) – November 11th, every year and is one of the largest and brightest festivals in Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Mauritius, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Malaysia, Singapore, Fiji, and the Australian external territory of Christmas Island..
Since we’ll be celebrating with our Hindu brothers and sisters this year, we thought we’d gather a few recipes for you to enjoy also.
