Nothing beats a cold drink as the season gets warmer, kicking back with mates either at a local rooftop bar or by the backyard pool with the barbecue blazing.
Sometimes though, things like the weekly shop, or your significant other’s emergency outfit needs take over and you find yourself far from any kind of BBQ. To refresh that late-night shopping experience, I’ve partnered with Recycled Interiors and Hahn Radler to create a mini putt putt golf course where you would least expect it!
If you’re free next Thursday, join us at the Recycled Interiors designed Hahn Radler Putt Putt in Westfield Pitt Street for a chance to try the new Hahn Radler beer and some delicious snacks created by yours truly! Because we love Summer so much, we’ve proposed a small mouthwateringly Hahn Radler-infused menu for this event which has been inspired by some of our recent international travels.
Perhaps like a few of you, we had no idea what a Radler was, until now. The Hahn Radler takes its name from the traditional German Radler style of beer. The word Radler is German for ‘cyclist’, having originated when a local Bavarian tavern owner built a path through the forest to his tavern for cyclists to refresh themselves after a ride with a beer and lemon mix.
Why infuse beer into the menu? Cut with natural lemon, the Hahn Radler is suited to Australian tastes containing 70 per cent lager and 30 per cent natural lemon, throwing a rather refreshing and summery hit to the taste buds.
So what do you think of fresh Sydney Rock Oysters topped with a Hahn Radler Sorbet or fresh School Prawns shallow fried and served with a Hahn Radler infused tartare sauce?
How about some Spicy Chorizo Chips drizzled with a Hahn Radler infused mayo/mustard?
Fish Tacos topped with coleslaw, fresh avocado and drizzled with a Hahn Radler infused mayo or Aranchini balls served with a Hahn Radler infused mayo?
Or the good old fresh guacamole (with red onion and tomato) served with crunchy corn chips?
We thought we’d keep it fresh and powerfully yummy, but small enough to eat and enjoy.
So head on over to Westfield Pitt Street with a couple of friends on Thursday 5th November and join us for some putt putt, delicious Hahn Radler inspired nibbles and of course, a few bottles of beer.
