Pronounced baba-gah-noosh, Baba Ganouj is this cute little Lebanese cafe on the corner of Grey Street and Tribune Street in Brisbane and it’s quiet unique to Brisbane. Taking a wrong left turn, I stumbled upon this place and absolutely loved it.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they make some pretty delish bites such as home made Sumbousik, Lebanese Saj bread freshly baked daily over a dome shaped hotplate with zaatar or bacon and egg, fresh Tabouli, Kebe balls, Wara’ 3anib [ vine leaves stuffed with rice ] and few more other yummy goodies.
For a quick and delish Middle Eastern bite or just a coffee, check out Baba Ganouj.
