A warm, comfy bed, a full and satisfied stomach and an educational slash intriguing brainstorming session with friends created what seemed like a weekend full of happiness. And it was made possible thanks to the wonderful humans over at Nuffnang, Destination NSW, Qantas and Rydges.
For some odd reason, I only ever have the best sleep in hotel rooms, perhaps it’s the fresh pillows and sheets.
Rydges Hotel North Sydney was no exception. Modern, well equipped rooms with their large, comfortable bed and cloud-like pillows guaranteed a fantastic and restless sleep.
Head down to the ground floor of Rydges Hotel North Sydney for the most important meal of the day. Fresh scrambled eggs, crunchy bacon, crispy hash browns, muesli, yoghurt, baked goodies and Nutella filled doughnuts which were AH-MAZING! Will not be disappointed.
Because breakfast didn’t seem enough, we lunched at Neil Perry’s Burger Project inside World Square, Sydney.
Juicy cheeseburgers and chicken burgers, chilli chicken wings, crunchy fries, beers and cocktails insured none of us were hungry for a good few hours.
Another sensational offering by Neil Perry is Spice Temple. With a culinary focus on gorgeous Cantonese cuisine, Spice Temple also dwells on zodiac themed cocktails, paying homage to and draws inspiration from the provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guangxi and Xinjiang.
All dishes at Spice Temple are cooked only with finest and freshest produce and are made to share. And with Neil Perry himself hosting our dinner, it was definitely an incredible and memorable feast.
What seemed like an eternity but only a mere few hours, we gathered round a conference room at the …… Hotel like the Knights Templar, discussing collaboration ideas and ways to keep you awesome readers happy and entertained.
