Paul Prudhomme once said ‘You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food’ and Gee from Mister Gee Burger Truck in Sydney proves that this is absolutely true.
Spending months sourcing the right ingredients, perfecting his techniques to get the patties just right, decking out a food truck from the ground up, Gee’s mission is to share his burger passion with the rest of Sydney and hopefully, the world.
Every week, Gee and his team add a new burger to the menu, giving customers a random yet delicious option.
Headed there with my brother, Bob from The Jugernauts, we waited with roughly another 60 people before the truck window opened to grab our burgers. Ordered everthing that was on this weeks menu – 2 Cheese Boogie’s [one single patty and one double patty], Truffle Fries and a Baklava shake.
Soft and delightful buns holding together juicy, tender and medium cooked beef patties, topped with gorgeous and gooey slices of cheese. One bite and your hands get covered in mouthwatering burger juice that’ll have you licking your fingers.
Having eaten a fair few burgers around the world, the Cheese Boogie was definitely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and will be remembering it for a very long time.
Say hello to these sexy Truffle Fries. Crispy thin french fries with a divine truffle mayo generously drizzled all over. Just marvellous.
I’m not a drinker of milk [ doesn’t agree with my stomach for some odd reason] but I do love my Baklava. The pastry and nuts are crushed and blended perfectly, making this Baklava shake seriously delicious and out of this world.
If you’re looking for an epic burger that you’ll forever love and remember, hit up Mister Gee Burger Truck.
