This year, I’ve dressed the donut in a little white chocolate ganache (which is a cinch to make), a few crushed peanuts, PLUS a little edible gold shimmering powder (I can’t help it!). These glitzy donuts house an ice cream disc swirled green and gold. These Green and Gold donut ice cream sandwiches are the ultimate Australia Day treat, to celebrate this incredible county we live in.
2L TUB OF VANILLA ICE CREAM, SOFTENED
1-2 TEASPOONS OF GREEN FOOD COLOURING
1-2 TEASPOONS OF YELLOW FOOD COLOURING
12 STORE BOUGHT DONUTS

300ML THICKENED CREAM
150G OF WHITE CHOCOLATE, BROKEN INTO SMALL BITS
GOLD EDIBLE SHIMMERING POWDER
