Marion Grasby is adding Asian flair to the nation’s much-loved BBQs and roasts with the launch of her new Marion’s Kitchen Asian Spice Rub range. The new range is the first of its kind in Australian supermarkets and draws inspiration from the spice mixes used in street carts and local restaurants throughout Asia.
The range will launch with two flavours; Balinese Lemongrass & Garlic and Malaysian Coconut & Chilli. Both combine the intricate mix of spices and fresh aromatics that Balinese and Malaysian cuisines are known for. Marion has developed her range so that it is simple and easy to replicate the traditional flavours of the famous street-side grills and family eateries of Asia.
The spice rub is simply combined with meat or seafood and marinated for 10 minutes. Now you’re ready to barbecue, roast or grill! It’s really that simple.
“Roasting and barbequing is part of the Australian lifestyle, and I want every day to be full of flavour” says Marion Grasby, creator of Marion’s Kitchen. “My new range is the easiest and tastiest way to re-invent those classics with a punch of Asian flavour,” she said.
The new Asian spice rubs are a natural extension of the Marion’s Kitchen range, which has, until now, been comprised of Marion’s trademark gourmet meal kits.
Marion’s Kitchen Asian spice rub range, including Balinese Lemongrass & Garlic and Malaysian Coconut & Chilli flavours are available in Woolworths and Independent supermarkets now, from RRP $3.99.
Marion recently released her second cookbook, Asia Express, and is the host of her own TV series, Marion’s Thailand.
Also available in the Marion’s Kitchen range: Thai Massaman Curry, Singapore Laksa, Butter Chicken, Sri Lankan Curry, Korma Curry, Malaysian Curry, Pad Thai, Thai Red Curry, Thai Green Curry, Singapore Noodles, Thai Basil & Chili Stir-Fry and San Choy Bow.
