Serious Pig is a company that has developed sticks of salami that is designed to help you limit or completely dispose of your inevitable hangover. Created by Serious Pig owners (probably after a hard night of drinking with the boys) George Rice & Johnny Bradshaw, these specific salami sticks are officially known as Hangover Cured.
The Hangover Cured salami stick contains various herbs & spices with an emphasis on chilli and ginger. Ginger is long known to help in dealing with nausea whilst the chilli boosts endorphin production within our bodies (hence making us feel better).
In order for this meat to work effectively in curing your hangover, you are supposed to nibble on it throughout the time that you’re drinking (in between drinks, not during as a vodka lime and salami might not go down that great!). Eating it the next morning won’t be effective as such as its main function is to use amino acids to create more neurotransmitters which help our bodies transmit signals on a higher level of functionality.
