Adding to its ever growing list of variations, Oreos have now introduced Oreo Thins. They’re a “light, crisp, and delicate” take on the classic sandwich cookie.
Even though the original version is 12.5mm thick, Oreo Thins measures up at 7.5mm thick. A spokesperson has stated that while the Oreo Thin is thinner, it has a “similar creme to cookie ratio” as the regular Oreo.
This not a “diet” option. Thought it has fewer calories, Oreo is pushing this as a more “grown-up treat that can be paired with a cup of tea, an afternoon latte, or even a glass of whiskey in lieu of the classic milk-and-Oreo pairing.”
Oreo Thins will be available in original, mint, and “golden” flavours when they hit US shelves nationwide July 13. For the rest of the world, we’re just going to have to wait a bit.
