Guys – it’s finally happened.
We all prayed hard enough and the unthinkable has finally happened – a restaurant has opened up ENTIRELY dedicated to guacamole.
We’re talking TEQUILA guac, mango guac, roasted sweet corn guac, fried golden bacon guac, crispy chorizo guac, guac served to you in an IV drip you can pump directly into your veins.
Okay fine I made that last one up, but this place is goddamn serious about their guac.
Oh – and guess what it’s called. GUAC. Duh.
Oh, oh oh – one more thing. It opened up shop on National Guacamole Day – September the 16th. Was I the only one that didn’t know that this beautiful holiday existed? Am I the only one wondering why it’s not a public holiday and we don’t get the day off work/school to lie in a bathtub full of guacamole?
It opened up in Manhattan, NYC recently and as well as its extensive guacamole list, has a range of tequilas, margaritas, tacos and anything else your Mexican food-loving heart desires.
Is the word ‘guac’ starting to sound strange to anyone? I need to go lie down.
