The All White Truffle Lunch At Ronda Locatelli Inside Atlantis The Palm, Dubai

White Truffle on EVERYTHANG!!!...

You’re given two menus; a regular menu and an all white truffle menu, what do you do? You simply hand back the regular menu to the waiter and order one of everything off the truffle menu. Which is exactly what I did.

Staying at the magnificent Atlantis The Palm on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, I headed down to Ronda Locatelli for what was supposed to be a ‘light’ lunch. Ha! It seems to be a joke I regularly tell myself to feel better. Nonetheless, food had to be devoured.

The love child of international Michelin Star chef Gorgio Locatelli, Ronda Locatelli prides itself on its authentic Italian cuisine and the use of ingredients imported from Italy EVERYDAY! And this lunch was no exception. Everything on this menu had Italian white truffle shaved all over it – from the scrambled eggs to the pasta to the pizza, even the ice cream had white truffle.






Feast your eyes on this beautiful white truffle imported directly from Italy.



Lunch began with a bowl of fresh and crunchy zucchini fries.



Uovo strapazzato o all’occhio di bue / scrambled eggs with a side of two slices of toast, shaved parmesan and white truffle.



Tagliolini al burro / Homemade egg tagliolini with butter sauce and more white truffle.



Pizza all zucca e parmigiano / White base pizza, mozzarella, parmesan over a pumpkin puree and even more white truffle.


Zabaglione al marsala, gelato al miele / Marsala zabaglione with honey ice cream. Yes, the ice cream had white truffle on it also.


I believe I’ve been truffled out after this insane lunch. Hats off to the staff for their fantastic service and to the chefs for putting together this awesome menu.
