The Breakfast Ramen at The Sum Of Us, Dubai was epic!...

If you’re missing that Melbourne cafe feeling and killer fresh food, then you have to check out The Sum Of Us in Dubai. We were there late last year and absolutely loved it.

From the chef-restauranter duo behind the already deliciously successful Tom & Serg, The Sum Of Us hit us right in the feels, reminding us of Australia’s fantastic cafe scene. A warehouse vibe with exposed pipes, concrete floors, pine chairs and a leaf lathered hole in the roof allowing a sneak peek to the upper dining level.



As you walk through the simple yet inviting courtyard, you’ll smell a dedicated bakery and an in-house roastery producing the café’s own blend of coffee, made by a local company Raw Coffee.

From the ever decadent créme brulée tarts to the mouthwatering meringue topped cronuts, everything at The Sum Of Us is baked in-house.

The scrambled eggs on avo and toast, the french toasts, the fresh seasonal fruits topped with mango sorbet and coconut & almond crumble – it was all freaking fantastic.

But our favourite had to be this divine Tsou Breakfast Ramen. Tender braised beef chuck, 63 degree poached egg, chuka ramen, shiitake mushroom, daikoni carrots, fresh herbs, sesame seeds in a gorgous and smooth chicken broth. This is one dish they need to bring back to the menu as I checked and it’s gone. The Sum Of Us, if you’re reading this, BRING IT BACK PLEASE!


They’re open from 8am to 10pm so whenever you’re in Dubai and ready to chow down on some epic eats whether it’s breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner – you definitely need to eat at The Sum Of Us.
