Have a spare $100 to spend on a donut? What if it was wrapped in gold? If so, you’d be totally intrigued by this 24-karat gold doughnut, offered at New York’s Manila Social Club.
This family-owned restaurant is run by head chef and founder Björn DelaCruz. Björn posted a photo of the Golden Cristal Ube Donut roughly a week ago on Instagram and has caused quiet the ruckus.
Their infamous gold-ube donut are $100 USD each and are adorned with icing made with Cristal champagne and filled with an ube mousse, champagne jelly and covered with 24k Gold leaf.
